Another option would be human, which would gain me another feat and skill point per level as well as duel boosting but lose me 3 DC on stunning blow.....worth it? IDK....also recon SLA is sweeeeeet so tough choice.

ya, I was looking at that and it does look pretty great...can it be activated at fhe same time as haste boost?

given that you're a bladeforged, there's no reason you couldn't take your second monk level after a +3 tome kicks in.
