Ok, first of all, I know "tanks" are not really needed in most content. But bear with me.



My vision is as close to max heal amp as I can get without feeling like a COMPLETE idiot.

Mind you, mostly idiot is just fine. But it still needs to be EE viable.

There's a couple of ways to do this. Absolute max heal amp is 5+pally for t5 KOTC + 12 shintao monk and human in firestance wearing Jidz. It's ok. But I don't love it. It might be slightly more stupid than I want.

Right now I'm leaning Centered Kensei with dual Nightmares in firestance as a helf monk dilly. But, I'm not fully decided.

Flesh maker adds 0.1 to your healing amp after all other calcs are worked out (stupid bodmas). Best way to utilize it is to equip it, take off your other healing amp gear and reset your AP (this will make it count first).

If you're going to settle for a mediocre healing amp tank, I'd probably go with:
9monk, 7cleric, 4pally.

ap costs:
shintao = 11ap
Kotc = 22ap
human = 12ap
Radiant = 32ap
spare = 3ap  (i'd cut back 8more to get shadowfade)

No matter what path you go here though, a bladeforged like mine will be a better "tank" thanks to having the AP for shadowfade, Earth stance PRR, and self reconstructs.

BODMAS - Brackets Of Division Multiplication Addition Subtraction.
If you ever see an equation 2 or more of the above, you work the equation out in that order.

The fleshmakers necklace is an additive bonus, not a multiplicative one.

for simplicity
1 base * 1.3 item = 1.3  then  you add +.1 from fleshmakers necklace.
1.3current heal amp + 0.1 = 1.4

Now if you were to equip the fleshmakers first:

1 base + .1 fleshmaker = 1.1%
now if i put on a 30% item, 1.1current heal amp * 1.3 = 1.43

once you relog, the fleshmakers necklace is counted last as a small additivite bonus at the end of all the multiplicative sums.  If you just take off your amp gear and re-equip it, the fleshmakers necklace will be counted before those again.

Ok, upon reflection, the 2nd Setup makes the most sense overall because you could have like Ivy Wraps AND Healing Curse going at the same time for a ridiculous amount of self heals.

But, Setup5 is interesting for a couple of reasons. First, Dual Nightmares is still cool imo. Second, Plar Conflux-- and I'll need that PRR, and third more pally means blur bar for cheap cures that will work nicely.

Moreover, I already have two nightmares and my Main is a monk with high heal amp, so I don't need two toons so close to each other.


Ok. So, I need to figure out the right split. But to do that, I think I need to figure out feats.

Why so many pally levels anyway? 10 pally still only gets you cure light wounds.  Rejuv coccon will be better healing.

8fighter/6monk/6pally seems better.

So what is it that you are going to tank ?
TO ? He will eat you alive and ranged is better, good luck holding aggro against monkchers.
LoB ? Noone does that, you won't have intim, when you block, you will lose aggro again .
