	Did something change with DDO recently? I can't seem to multibox anymore, and it makes me cry tears of non-joy inside. plzhelp?

	I hate that dual boxing shit, ever been in a raid where someone brought a bot? What makes them think they deserve 2x's the loot of everyone else. Ran into one asshole triple-boxing. I'm not carrying some gimp motherfuckers so they can get 2 or 3x's the loot i get. That said, Have a nice day.

	I heard of one dude eightboxing a raid before XD. That i find quite funny. Don't think I've ever come across someone multiboxing in a raid, though. It would be annoying, I agree ^^.

No need for multiple game installs, or anything of that nature anymore. Enjoy.

I was able to multibox normally on my end. So I don't believe(knock on wood) anything has changed on the DDO side of things. How long has the game been crashing this way?

We used to have a guild account with 2 clerics. The expectation was that when raiding, who ever was AC tanking would dual box and take care of their own heals. Worked amazingly in tod / vod (tank n spank), it was very rare for a pug to complain when waiting for a healer we volunteered to dualbox in shroud/ev6/echrono etc. Abbot was fun, though it did start to get annoying when I was expected to do goggles and ice >< It was a bit tricker in EDQ before the "spartan method" became mainstream on Sarlona, after that I set my melee to auto target and focused on healing. What makes me think we deserved the extra loot?, we would have done the raid with or without the pugs, any who had a problem with our tanking/healing situations were always free to drop.

I'm sure none of them actually think they deserve it. And lately with how difficult raids are to fill at various times, I rather short man it and allow people to multi-box than wait another fucking hour to fill the last spots.

	Some multiboxed toons are more useful in the hands of an experience player than one fully controlled toon in the hands of a bad player. If they are up front that they are multi boxing before it starts, that's fair warning to stay or leave.

	I run as many as four accounts at the same time, but I basically only do it for slayers on my own while I watch tv or whatever. On rare occasions, I use the other accounts while running quests with guildies. The only time I have multiboxed a raid was Tempest Spine. That hardly counts, and no one else was involved. It would be douche baggery to the extreme to muli-box a raid via a pug. I might have to try it sometime.

	Seems I found the issue; looks like I was running the client through a proxy. Don't remember ever doing that...regardless, after turning it off I could launch two applications at once again. Fun times.

Having run isboxer for eve and ddo, I can assure you that my 3 linked sorcs takes no effort to run since all keyboard and mouse commands can be routed to any and all clients. Yes, it is also turbine sanctioned.

	Yeah depends on the situation. On raids our guild might have 3 of us multiboxing a few alts, during mabar and crystal cove we are always doing it since stuff goes to group. Though mabar it seemed less came to piking multibox alts. Or like others mentioned to help other groups out if they need a healbot or something specific that takes less work. The part that is bothersome is when pugs do it and don't say anything.

	I've been multiboxing for years in this game and usually its my group or raid that I'm doing it in and for the reason others have stated , bring a cleric/tank combo or caster/tank combo that can heal/repair and the rest of the group takes care of everything else .... But the bottom line is it's my group or a guild/channel group and if you don't like it drop .....
