Dev tracker shows a server full issue with Ghallanda earlier.
Cordovan didn't go into details on the issue or what they fixed.

I wonder if this is related to the population login spikes per DDOOracle?

I don't see where the Oracle has been updated since September.  So I'm not sure results from then reflect what is going on now.

Perhaps it was some sorta new "feature" trying to trick the players into believing this game is not a deadland.

Wow, maybe I should have tried Ghallanda this weekend. Even if they just put in some bots or NPCs it would have felt less creepy. A guildmate had been reminiscing about DDO so we decided to log in for a bit on Saturday night to check out the new enhancement UI (we've been taking a break for 4+ months) and Argo was a wasteland. I expected to see tumbleweeds blowing across the Harbor bridge.

But at least we had bugs to keep us company. We both had the first login failure. We opened a trade window in a quest and she couldn't close her end of it, so we were running the quest with her trying to see around the stupid window. It did go away when the client crashed and she had to log back in.

I'm so glad they took the time to move Niles Cage from the south end of the harbor up to the north end, and got that unsightly Gambler's Den away from where you first get off the boat, that was such a detriment to my gaming experience and way more important than things like client crashes, first login failure, and stuck windows. 2013 was such a great year!

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

Alexa internet traffic data for ddo.com/turbine.com/et al is pretty bleak looking. I dont have the access anymore to see their bandwidth use anymore, but I am sure it is still trending down.

None of it at all accurate, but nice doom. We had a very good year.

they will probably congratulate themselves on how long they "kept it going" never able to see that it could have easily managed to keep itself going for far longer if they had just meddled far less drastically and with some semblance of an actual gameplan.

Other companies will settle for shitting out garbage, Turdbin actually prefers to. Especially if they can get us to buy it, that just cracks them up.

Devs do not care what players want - they already have an agenda and give out token gestures so the paladins can feel worthy.

Alexa data was best after forum upgrade fiasco, those red graphs and numbers sure looked like good year.

Yeah, it was pretty funny to read Maj's "average shit" comment and think about the traffic data showing Neverwinter's equivalent to MyDDO drawing twice the hits as DDO's entire game. The mouse humping the elephant squeeking "Take it all, bitch!" or some such.

Shutting down the API server may silence the DDOracle, but that doesn't get rid of all of the evidence.

While the API server being back up would be a vast improvement, you'll find the Oracle still knows a thing or two.   Wink

Your Oracle applauds your thirst for knowledge, and has something in mind that should… foster discussion.

It's generally up on the site first, then @DDOracle's followers hear about it next [i.e. when the live launch is finally right.]
