For The Devs that read this. . .

I got a buddy on Argo who plays the hell out of bards, I think he is finishing his 12th or 13th triple completionist bard. Well, we were chatting the other day and he had mentioned playing EQ years ago and was wondering why DDO has never done anything involving instruments, like having the Mad Lute give a 20% bonus to song duration or something like that. I thought it was an interesting idea and wanted to post it here and see if anyone else has anything to add that might flesh it out a little.

Only one Turbine Official reads The Vault, his name is MajMal.

It's easier to get his attention with a Hey MajMal thread.

Now since he is not a Dev but the Chief of QA Kobolds Tribe, it's probably useless to ask him things like that.

You'd probably better off making a Hey DocOcto in the officiial Forum since he seems to be the one they put in charge of items to replace Plume de Soleil. ( and pray it's just not a trick to let us believe they changed the fleshling behind the names )

And if you do that, use a much larger font, just about all of them are legally blind.

I'm honestly not sure if I understand this right.
For being triple completionist, he has to complete 3 bard and 36 other lives. If this is his 12th triple completionist toon, then  he must have completed 432 other lives compared to 36 bard. He must have played other classes much more than bards then.

Also if it takes 1 week each. It also takes 468 weeks (=9 years).

But in fact what made me curious is something different. Why does he have 12-13 triple completionist Bards? Wouldn't you prefer to park each completionist to different class when you cap?

Please tell me there is a typo there or I understood it wrong.

No, you got it right. He was TRing a toon just about every day. I have no idea how he does it and I really wish he would tell me ><
