Hey builders and reprobates,

Any appetite for helping me fix a pure halflimg finesse guile monk build from about 3 years ago, or a classic exploiter, similar vintage? If I will marshall my build fu, such as it is,,,,,

Tell us your build points, pastlives, aligment, what kind of playstyle would you like, are you tring or lring, if lring what heart, et .

They are both first life toons. You have the free 20 heart and probably a free lesser heart of other sorts kicking around. I am not TRing them. They aren't unplayable right now, but I would like them more playable.

IIRC the Exploiter's first level was Rogue and Monk was about level 10, which led to fun and games when I was experimenting with the 20 LR on Lama. Some kind of blend of those 3 classes would be fine.

I don't mind if the monk doesn't stay pure - I like its survivability ATM but am sure someone can coax more AC / DPS out of it.

The ranger has access to Cocoon ATM, the monk doesn't. The monk is 24, the ranger 22 (which I think shows how much even a sporadic player like me neglects them. The ranger feels too squishy, the monk less so.

Id tr the halfling monk into a bladeforged, shouldnt be hard to find a build for that.

The exploiter, id probably change to a shortswords build, exact build would depend on your preferences, but 12ranger,6monk,2rogue would be an improvement over the classic exploiter.

I did pick up the Celestias I think, so that is a possibility.

No TRing. I play maybe once or twice a week these days. I just finished my last TR and it took over a year. Needs to stay halfling.

I had a second-life halfling monk 20 who started as a finesse build.  He is now a...  halfling monk 20.  Nothing fancy, but he does okay; he's not going to be soloing any of the tougher EE's any time soon, but he can roflstomp pretty much anything on EH and solo easier EE content. 

If he had decent gear I could probably aspire to more, but it has taken me a stupidly long time to get heroic completionist on my main (like you, very little time) so this guy hasn't had much love.   I haven't had the wherewithal to even figure out a proper gear setup, let alone acquire one.  I am only just starting pay real attention to epics for the first time since the enhancement pass, so I don't even really know what is out there Smiley
