Is it bad that I want to see Gnomes in DDO? Mostly for the purpose of creating an 'Evil' Gnomish Necromancer.

It is bad and you should feel bad.  Warwick Davis has enough on his plate and doesn't have time to kill Orcs in DDO.

They've hinted at having gnomes brewing for awhile... I would bet gnomes are the next race, if they manage to release another race before the game shuts down.

IF I wanted Gnomes, this would be the ONLY reason.

A half-dozen boss Vaulties donated generously with real money to my classroom during a fundraiser in May 2015 to get poor kids books to read. I won't forget that. They know who they are, and they freaking rule.

Once you meat your personal goal you might want to give that some consideration.

Good grief Meat, you're hopeless. You would label the simple act of taking a shit as someone obeying the divine law of nature to leave a proof of existence.

Gnomes make sense due to their history as a D&D race.  They are the only remaining original (AD&D) core race not present.

Although, honestly, they are the least interesting of any of the options.  I've go no desire to play a gnome toon.  So, forget completeness.  I'd rather have something fun.

The other "core" races added in 4th edition (Tiefling, Eladrin, Dragonborn) would presumably be next in line.  Although the Eladrin in 4th edition were much different than in prior editions.  Theoretically, they are basically elves now.  I think we would most likely see them(due to how easy the artwork would be) or Tieflings (due to the heavy FR content) if we don't see gnomes.

Of these, I'd most want to see Dragonborn.  That'd be fun and totally unlike anything we have now.  And they work in both FR and Eberron.
