I'm not posting over there any longer.  If they cannot allow a dissenting opinion, then positive opinion is moot.  The Bag of Small Dicks that comprise the entity named Cordovan has ensured that the beatings will continue until morale improves.  There are enough Player Council here that we can still be heard, at least until they are banned/removed for being vocal.

And I would encourage members of the council to direct other members here, subtly.  And, It'd be cool if Strake made a sub forum for them  Wink

Draconian is not even the word for it, fucking apartheid wasn't as bad as these clowns. And banning game accounts for forum shenanigans? I hope some Americans sue their cunty asses for that bullshit.

Stupid.

This may be the stupidest post I have read in a while.  Translation issues?

One thing for everyone who is a "skeptic" on this issue: Insurance companies are basing their underwriting on the assumption that it is real. They are refusing to write policies on homes that are likely to be in danger from rising seas 20 years from now, even though the resale rate of the homes is so high that they could keep writing policies for another 10 years and still not have to pay out on 1 policy in 5, but that would be irresponsible. Unethical, as well, but that's never stopped anyone before.

A game forum conduct plan is as bad as apartheid?  Really?  Do you understand what apartheid was and how it affected people?

Americans suing over this?  Really?  Based upon what legal grounds?

Fucking idiot.

This would be awesome, but they'd immediately get booted from council/forums for violating NDA, whether they did or not.

The backwards laws aka draconian, not the actions ..... dimwit.

So, like my case where I got banned after shaming someone for bad ingame griefing (where no action was taken) can now lead to a game ban is ok by you? I dunno how your laws work but here if you pay for something, unless you do some hardcore shit, like real hardcore illegal shit, no one can take what you payed for away ....... still with me?

Jesus Christ, could you suck more turbine dick in your time off you twat.

The ingnore function only works on PMs. So really he's just publicly stating he's going to ignore the guy, rather than just ignoring him and not going on and making a fuss about it.

Funny that you should mention real life. You're arguing with a lawyer about law.

Removal of in-game accounts is reserved for extreme cases. If they feel that you will give them more money, or you have recently given them money, they aren't going to take away your in-game account without a very good reason. Any action they take would not be draconian, as they would only remove a paid account for a serious offence.
It's rather sad that I have to explain something so basic to someone. /shrug

I was going to comment about the "Only Rainbows and Unicorns and Pretty, Pretty Flowers are allowed in the DDO forums" thing, but this lovers' spat is more interesting.

Anyway,

So basically, it's still "the rules apply when I feel like enforcing them"

Interesting. If you haven't updated your forum handle properly in the changeover that happened back whenever it was, it doesn't take your infractions with you?
