If you are wanting to live stream the only current tools used are Open Broadcaster Software (free) and Xsplit (paid, currently use).  Quality is largely a balance between upload to twitch.tv ingest servers and your processor (how well it can compress on the fly).

If you need any help feel free to holler but there are shit-tons of guides for streaming.

Lol, painful run, died 4 times myself.  Although WGU lag was largely responsible for half the deaths.  Again, I'm not the cream of the crop at this game.  I have no illusions about that what so ever.
