Nice Item. I wa never much of a fan of absorption items, but I know they are pretty usefull and this one (upgraded version anyway) may pretty much be the best of them.
Necklance of ME:
Assuming the pupeteer is FRIENDLY and scales with difficulty: AWESOME. Especially for +2 expcetion bonus.
Lantern Ring:
Not bad at all. Not something i would kill my granpa for, but decent.
Manual:
Meh. +3 luck isnt bad and while UMD is nice, this is clearly rogue/artie item - and those have zero problem with UMD. In fact, at this level, you are either screwed for life as far as UMD goes, or dont need any bonus. +6 skills bonus? Green Steel called, they want their min lvl 11 abilities back. This is garbage.
Libram:
+10 bonus on named item in the era of +11 bonuses on random loot is a fail.
PD Shield:
+10 bonus on named item in the era of +11 bonuses on random loot is a fail. the orb bonus together with shield bonus is a nice touch thou.
Deathwyrm Cloak:
Wow. This is such meh I lost my words....
Flask:
If this is affected by spellpower, they yay and wow!
If not, then meh, who cares? I mean.... unless it has min lvl 7 or so...... Well, in epic levels, I cannot imagine anyone desperate enough to use this in case spellpower inst afecting it.
Dagan Mallet:
Hmmmmm.... no. Its nice, but unless it has better crit range/multiplier, then non-shuriken thrower is meh.
