Oh Lammania again.
3 hours to download, 2 hours to patch just because.
Character copy doesn't work for 3/4 characters.
Of course I am gonna spend 2 hours creating a character, because you know, it would play just the same, and setting shit like hotbars is so enjoyable.
WHY It has to be SO difficult ?!11!?

I can only imagine what a mess their internal systems are. The character copy is probably some seven year old shell script that breaks completely unpredictably and no one currently working there knows how it works, and DDO is too understaffed to assign anyone to fix internal tools.

I can't tell for the raid, the Fail lies in the Character copy this time.

Now, with the latest comment I'm sure that character copy used the API somehow and since the API server id dead and won't be restored the character copy is dead.

Well at a glance they loose more than 50% of their potential testers by not fixing character copy.

MajMal, you need to move the character copy to the top priority fix list, it is really important if you want people to join the new Lammania bandwagon.

About an hour of messing with new Shadow Dragon Raid on EN.  Audio a bit jacked at beginning (can only hear guildy and not me, some echo) which was sorted out by the time we got into the raid.

Thanks to Teth playing guide.  We figured out some of the puzzels.  All I can say is the antigravity puzzle will be punishment on EE for half the raid group.

Was once but never got it 100% time stable, would get an intermittent bsod once a month or so which is a rate of instability I didn't like.

i dont think i dont even try that raid doing in pugs in about year, when people have more experience, even en it will be total mess in pug group, kinda fail from devs, that casual pleyer have nothig to do in this raid, then beeing completly usless and do nothing but getting lost and die, way too complicated

The end fight was good, but waves and waves of puzzles is not fun for a raid because it ends up with 11 people waiting.  Either the puzzle can be done by one person, and 11 people are passive OR everyone has to do the puzzle and 11 people wait on the 1 person who struggles with the puzzle.

Aye, looking over some of that video it is pretty boring, especially considering we were invised and didn't fight shit.  Was fun to figure out a few things though.

  So this is more of a cut'n'paste of the Shroud rather than Abbot and ToD that we've been seeing them rip off lately?  Please tell me a big rainbow wall comes up and wipes the raid after a few minutes.  As much as I "enjoy" playing other games while waiting for shit to happen in DDO, it would be nice if I could actually enjoy DDO for a change.

I have to agree there.  And thanks for putting the run on twitch.tv  I watched that intently last night after playing around in the ESO beta.  Looks like a good go at revitalizing end game so far.

I haven't tested any of the new stuff in FR because a fresh toon in Eberron is stuck in fucking Eberron, and even if I quicklevel to 20 and get the base gear, which these days is epic Abashai, cheers Squeak, very good decision, then I have to run a stupid chain to even get there.

At least that is where it was 2 weeks ago. Please to be stop doing this :/

Hey Tere, there are Doors/portals the devs spawned in the dojo that go right to Eveningstar.

They are located right in the middle behind the kobold & the respawning plat piles.

(Not defending Turbine, *just saying*, all your complaints are totally valid).
