	So turbine forced new accounts to run to lvl 4 before opening the birthday box.......except they left a big hole. 1. create new account 2. run through tutorial quest 3. head to stormreach bank 4. put box in bank 5. double click to take box out of bank......and it will open up into your inventory. 6. after getting some cash to allow you to pay for stamps (haverdasher probably best choice) mail cards to real account. I've got the whole process down to 14 mins.

But ty for sharing. general tip for email (not specifically involved in this event): If you have a gmail account (and if you don't, then might as well get one since they're free and they make a lovely give-to-advertizers-that-require-an-email-address-to-give-you-free-shit address), you can add stuff to the end of your main gmail address to make additional virtual email addresses. If someone had a hypothetical email address of tarrant69@gmail.com then any emails sent to tarrant69+something@gmail.com would go to the tarrant69@gmail.com inbox. tarrant69+one@gmail.com tarrant69+two@gmail.com tarrant69+sarlona@gmail.com tarrant69+orien@gmail.com etc...

I just fill in any old fake addresds on the DDO account generation form and it swallows it. the account is active immediately (don't need to receive an email to activate it) so just fire up the DDO launcher

	Oh FWIW, there was a post on the motherforums that mentioned this as one bug of several they listed (the bank thingy). Funny that post seems to have gone away...

	1) You don't need a real e-mail account... type whatever you want in the e-mail field... the account is created instantaneously... no e-mail confirmation needed. 2) If you roll your daily dice roll in the right range, you can get plat and skip haverdashers.

	And if anyone doesn't want to exploit with this, you can always level up to 4 and get the cards with your free accounts the same way.
