actually... i lacked the care to even bother... i waited until everyone had what they wanted in my close "Niche" then came here.. hinted towards it... still had some idiots... so i hinted further, finally, for those really dumb ones, i just blatantly put it out there on how to do it. Needless to say, it was only like.. 30 mins to servers blowing up.. but i put it out there. I can however say, that my Niche of people has dwindled to 3... from its like.. 40.. because i know for certainty none of them had anything to do with spilling it further down the line. Its alright though, when and if i come back, ill have an account waiting for me, possibly stripped of gear.. again, but i dealt with that the last time.

All i can say is, all the ola haters would hate me less if they knew a little more than they do. but, alas, i was told to not share this info. and so i will not.. happy hunting folks..

The way i see it, i have 90 days to decide if i care enough to even come back to the shithole that is DDO. Sure, there are a few people that i have spent hours, days, even years playing with, and have growin accustom to their company. But i feel as though, if i were to come back, i would migrate my 4 top toons from orien to.. somewhere else.. not sure where id go yet. I just get the feeling of unwelcomedness on Orien as of late, Which typically would not bother me, but for some reason, the place i have called my "home" for 4 years just doesnt feel like it anymore.

One of the people I brought over from Evony who joined MAC was a member of a full blown multi platform multi game gaming guild, but I agree it's really really rare. A shame really. I was talking to someone on a private channel recently about a friend she'd done multi completionist with, and he'd just disappeared. And that's rough. It's why, although I am in a lovely guild in GW2, I hesitate to try and build contacts, because of my potential flakiness, it just doesn't seem fair TBH

If you think about it though it's part of life.  People move in and out of your life all the time.

Even if a personal connection can be ephemeral their influence even if only for a short time can be great.

Some of my friends here are just as precious to me as those who I have interacted with in the physical world. I don't see any real difference - and as we move to more virtualisation it will become more common I imagine.
