It looks like a forum ban.

Turbine are getting hysterical by the looks of it. I'm guessing the fucked state of the last release and new exploits so soon after the last has some WB brass coming down like a ton of bricks on those useless fucks.

They ban people from forums without banning people from the game all the time.  I'd bet that 2/3 of all the vault members have been banned from the forums.  Possibly 3/2 of all the vault members if you count the number of extra post-ban motherforum accounts that have been made for various reasons.   

but i dont understand...non of the threads I;ve made fall under such criteria...

im looking at my acc profile that i just dug up, and nothing is offensive...wtf.

the last thread i made was about not being able to use ed twists whilst tr';ing.... i said something along the lines of..

"I cant get them back after I reset'd" then no reply to the thread, and I didnt log back on since to post...

fyi...this thread was made in december..what the heck I just dont get it.

Hmm.. either a very good troll thread or Turbine was able to do even more stupid stuff... Not every Vault user is an exploiter or disturbing the official forum. -.-

The ones who want to post shit are still able to do so, it's more annoying for the legit users than for the others who are used to create new forums accounts every few weeks/months. -.-

My guess:
1. The link you clicked just went to a cubed thread, nothing special. They always ask you for login (because if you log in as an admin you can still see the thread, in the 'cubed threads' sub forum where they move them I guess).
2. You were banned sometime between your last login and today, and the cubed thread forcing you to log in revealed that you were banned.
3. I think you can view your email or forum profile or something and see more about what caused the ban/when it was placed? Not sure on that.

That seems like a sensible sort of things to check. While the Vault irks them, I can't see them banning based on the source of a link. If they have, they have really jumped the shark on the forum game. Some of us are even sensible!

If you find that Community relations person (Cordo) smacks you with the ban hammer, you have the right of appeal.
