That's what leaves me dumbfounded - they "fix" things like this, ranger imbues and secret doors(wtf?), but neglect so many other necessary fixes.
Sure MajMal says they fix what they can and some of it is hard yo, but it still makes you wonder why this and other game breaking issues such as monkchers with bows being better than Rangers, and Druids wolves with unlimited stacks on their hand wraps remains untouched?
If they are going to fix game balance, no probs with that, but wouldn't you target the big stuff first? Boulder toss? Did they only fix that because it doesn't affect most monks?
The Turbine priority system leaves me a bit mystified.
We are all confuzzled. DDO loves monks. Absolutely adores them, much like Thazara's bukake fantasies with Shat. DDO would fix features that benefits every other class, except monks.
I've always said that the game developers/coders need to play the game. And I stand by that. The devs need to play the game. The community manager (Heil!) needs to play the game.
I don't mind them nerfing the "hidden features" that allows cheating in-game. I've never needed exploits to be awesome, and I never will. But them nerfing stuff that needs no nerfing? Fuck that. This is what happens when they listen too much to Veriden and the like, and listen too little to folks that make sense, like Flav.
(note: replace the name Flav with any one who makes more sense)
