So next patch they are going to nerf boulder toss, and supposidly "Increase its damage" but it will no longer be affected by spell power. *no more 10k crits on helpless mobs :S*

And I was just wondering what do you guys plan on replacing it with once it is gone, (dont post anything that is just +6 to reflex saves or passive nobody needs to know)

1.) Grit my teeth and keep it
2.) Avenging Light
3.) Consecration

If you are not in shiradi, wild shots may be an option.  It will do a little less damage on a single non-crit hit but can hit up to 4 mobs and has the potential to crit for more than the new boulder toss.

Those +6 saves twists are shit.  I'm going to be replacing it with the one that's +2 to all three saves.  That's WAAAY better.

Just another example of Turdbine fixing something till it breaks. 

As fas as other twists to replace it?  Depends on your focus.  Were you really depending on Toss or was it just icing on the cake?  I liked Shadow daggers while leveling through Shadow dancer to get to Boulder Toss.  Not the best but doable.

Since I have enough fate points for it, I'm in Draconic with Prism and Double Rainbow twisted in (no single rainbow since I don't have enough for that).

I'm honestly not getting enough out of Double Rainbow to make those twists worthwhile, but I'm at least enjoying them.

I think 3 times in 5 it has no effect because the ground is bumpy or because turbine.  Not the greatest power even before the nerf.  It only got used as much as it did because it is tier 1.

Patch 2 and we will know that thrown knives also should not be affected by spellpower.

Start the animation sequence then jump up.  Then it hits nearly 100% of the time.

3-5k on a normal hit.  Occasional 5 digit hit on a crit.  Once every 20 seconds, for free.  It was a strong ability.

I need to just give in and play an AA, because Turbine never seems to nerf what would make sense.

Why do they have to keep breaking things that work?
Turbine - fix the fucking bugs, not the things that work.
Don't you have anything better to do.
If you're struggling, pretty sue we can provide 999 this ahead of boulder toss to be fixed/balanced....

Turbine doesn't like fixing old bugs because if they stay broken long enough they become features.

Nothing replaces it. It's just a stupid change that breaks BT for everyone.
