I'm seeing it this way too.
Maybe I am misunderstanding, but
If abilities are scaling based on the dungeon level I go into, why run easier ratings?

Player character abilities should be the same no matter what difficulty they like running.
If I prefer and build for smooth EH runs, why should I take a 25% power reduction when I run EH?

heh. I hate scaling. reminds me of that shit game Skyrim. No matter where you go the monsters all scale to you and are the same difficulty. loot is also scaled to your level. there is no reason to explore different dungeons. the loot is the same. the monster difficulties are the same. lol.
