•Exalted Angel
•New:
•Soundburst SLA
•Sun Bolt SLA
•Mass Cure Light Wounds SLA
•Piercing Spellcraft: A Spell Penetration bonus that does not stack with Piercing Spellcraft from the Magister Epic Destiny
•Shadows Upon You: A targeted foe becomes cursed with Shadows Upon You, reducing all saving throws by -2/-4/-6. Whenever the foe is damaged by spells or attacks, saving throws are reduced by an addition -1, stacking up to ten times.


•Changed:
•Divine Wrath no longer requires Ardor to cast. Cooldown and spell point costs have been increased. This is now affected by the Quicken Metamagic.
•Reborn in Light's cooldown has been reduced from 30 minutes to 10 minutes. The counter requirements have been reduced to 25.


•Replaced:
•Leap of Faith has been replaced as an innate ability with a Transcendent Magic Spell DC bonus. Leap of Faith has been moved to Tier 5.
•Renewal has been moved from the Exalted Angel epic destiny to the Unyielding Sentinel epic destiny. This ability requires being in the Unyielding Sentinel epic destiny to self-target.


•Blessed Blades now shows its effects in weapon damage properties.

Anyone else excited about giving up Renewal for Sun Bolt?

And why since AoV is not going to be considered a "Healing Class" for the luv add Mass Cure Light Wound SLA, what a waste.

With the new changes I'll now be able to consider 16 Fvs/2 Paladin/2 Monk (the Morninglord free SP SunBolt made it impossible not to go pure 20).

As always, need to play around with it to really understand it, but prelim observations:
* Mass Cure Light - seriously - wtf?  Who thought this was a good idea?
* Moving Renewal to US?  As a Cleric, Renewal was one of my most effective healing abilities in terms of bang for buck.  How is US a healer destiny?  And you have to be in destiny to self use?  Why???
* Soundburst SLA - would be ok, except it requires Perform to up the damage.
* SunBolt SLA - could be ok.  At least it is consistent with the recent focus on radiance damage.  Most offensive spellcasting Clerics already have their radiance maxed, so this just becomes another useful ability.  Clerics really lacked a good damage ray spell, so this could actually be useful.  (Nimbus is pathetic damage)
* Shadows upon You - only useful if it stacks on bosses.  Nothing else lives long enough to get stacks up.
* Piercing Spellcraft - could be decent.  Certainly saves a twist.

Dubious that Turbine do not understand how their players mostly play their clerics (the different styles).  Why else did it require such drastic changes?  Just hope they either (a) get it right (b) are prepared to change it if they don't.

Also, they seem to have fixed Libram. +20 spellcraft and +11 to stats of base item. No longer BtCoA.

Yes.  I am happy to see some changes in these trees as I thought they were crap from the get go.  Endless faith is a nice ability to twist.

Even if you maximize your sonic spell power, it will do at most 100-150.
It's only for CC 50% of the time. It's a good twist for monks, sorcs, or anything else with a bit of wisdom or charisma. Its DC calculation is...different than normal spell.

I like 3 DCs.
I like Soundburst helpless, dislike SLA cooldown, that means you will still have to use spell version to chain stun shit.
Lol at spell pen, noone is gonna take that, maybe for Citw flags once.
Not sure about Sunbolt sla, will see how much dmg it does cause we still have to spend too many points for Echoes.
I like how my cleric gets 72 or more standing evo if they fix 2 dc stacking and more evocation is useful in new stuff.
I don't like spending point(s) for wings.
That mass cure light sla is weak.
Also big FUCK YOU again to all you piking imbeciles that supported Renewal move.

Heighten does not affect it. It uses character level instead of spell level. Divine Wrath and the Sunbolt SLA are the same.

Hmm I didn't really pay attention to Soundburst DC until now.
Excapt lowbie heroics ( when you don't really have/need Heighten ).
But I am pretty sure I have set it to Heighten+Quicken always on, Max+Emp always off after the change and moved it to quickbar.
I will check the DCs after the servers come back.

The DC for Soundburst SPELL is the same as any spell.

But the ED SLA version uses a different DC calculation.

Ahh that's why the confusion.
Since I have no desire to spend 10 hours to update Lama and fail character copy, didn't check that out yet.
So is it lower or higher than spell ?
Pretty sure my heightened Soundburst spell matches BB or Sunburst and stuff.
Anyway that cooldown sucks.

Mass-CLW as a SLA. ok,
SoundBurst. Weak sauce.
