HairyO - you sound a bit bitter and twisted about ML.
I wouldnt say bitter and twisted. Just amazed / disappointed / dejected at the lost opportunity. Devs never really took it seriously, when it should have been an absolute priority. The earlier they reveal their ideas the better - because it means the real stinkers can be quickly and even cheaply fixed.
Any time there was a delay they would skip the planning, which would lead to disasters further down the track. They never learned from this. So I can only assume they were perfectly comfortable with releasing garbage figuring they would fix some of the stuff at some point, and completely ignore some of the stuff forever (while pretending that they care).

It basically meant showing us / we give feedback / they alter it slightly so we are happier all the time the second slightly less ... version was the one they wanted. They only showed us the first to get the rage over with. The idiots fell for it every god damned time.
Yeah it very much felt like this. They would gauge our rage and then come back with some changes. Often very quickly which had me thinking it was pre-planned.
Then it would go to Lamania and they would gauge the reaction from the much larger audience. Changes there would sometimes take much longer because they had some real work to do.
So it was a case of trying to ram through what they had always planned by giving us things we hate and then having us think we made a difference by paring it back a little.
