Indestructible weapon

Hey.

I have a fully upgraded Dreamspitter (Both with Reaver seal and with Dreamforge).

Dont ask why - I have it for a long time, long before staff builds became any good, as I really liked the idea of that weapon.

Now, anyone who ever played staff build knows, that those fucking poles break unbelivably fast. I have to repair after each quest and it sucks. And I have to carry second staff with me all the time cause sometimes, one just isnt enough.

I pulled my Dreamspitter out of the bank because I started with IQ1 and IQ2, and I found out interesting thing: It never takes damage.

Never-ever-ever. After I noticed, I tested it on devil assault (HE) and it cannot be destroyed. So, is that just a bugged weapon, or can anyone tell me if I can reporoduce it?

I'm fairly sure I've noticed this on my Dreamspitter too.

Now you've mentioned it it will probably get 'fixed'  Sad

I doubt it.

1. It works for Dreamspitter, not Dreampiercer.

2. Who has dreamspitter these days?

3. Who cares about dreamspitter these days? I only pulled it out of the bank because well.... long time ago I heavily invested into it and I didnt want it to go to waste....

As it stands now, then unless you are fihting outsiders, Spitter is just a little better alternative over bare hands when you main staff breaks...

That said, I f I could replicate this on my Breeze or Sireth...

Something in that sentence doesn't make sense to me.

A lot of things don't make sense to you. The downsides of low IQ.

I pull out a Souleater until things start saving against the instadeath effect. The indestructible Dreamspitter thing is interesting, though. I wonder if it has to be double unlocked or any version is indestructible.

I don't have the Reaver upgrade, just the IQ upgrade.

I think "retarded" was giving you too much credit. Even moron may be too much. How about imbecile? Although, the word seems to include moron and idiot.

What's a word for someone with the mental skills of a 5 year old?

Well it is one of the few items typed as Glass.
Maybe they mis-coded glass to be invulnerable to all damage instead of acid etc.

Anyone ever had Muckbane need repairs.  I can't recall.

Interesting to know thanks Grimorde.

A 5 year old?

Retarded, idiot, moron, and imbecile are all medical terms. Retarded are those whose mental faculties are impaired in some ways, but are appropriate for age in others. Idiot, moron, and imbecile are gradations in the IQ scale.

Really - what is your fascination with me? You claim it's not for my tiny dick or my non-existent balls. Is it because of this classic font I use? It's the default font...

I was thinking that the Dreampiercer is also made of glass.

Muckbanes did need repairs. Although I haven't tried recently. I wonder if there's some way to transfer that "interesting property" to other items.

Interesting, since both hardness and durability are very low.
I will make a wild guess that glass property to not take damage from oozes was coded in some funny way, and misses "from oozes" part.

Mayvbe the trick lies in Dremforge upgrade?

Anyone has Upped Terror? Does it take damage?

Terror isn't glass anymore, and takes full damage from oozes and rusties.

Breaks DR Crystal and has the hardness of glass. I would guess that it is made of crystal then.

I imagine Turbine did not want to make a new hardness category and just re-used glass.

That material in the little blue bar at the bottom is what the item is made of. It is made of glass and happens to break crystal DR. How is that not understandable?

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.
