Or maybe they are starting to use transactions where they previously had not. That would make me sad because transactions could help them avoid lost items and such.
  
Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

FWIW, I rebooted everything, and lag is much better. I'm even getting less delay after switching toons multiple times.


Edit: I spoke too soon. My best guess is there's something in the way DDO interacts with Windows in idle mode. Something lagtastic.

Re-Edit: Lag reliably goes into overdrive whenever I go AFK. And stays when I come back. Sometimes it gets better if I enter a new area. Sometimes not. But the lag never completely goes away once my chat window ever gives me the "You have been marked as AFK due to inactivity." message.
