	To the OP I cannot answer the question about you being a jerk, I don't know you. Are people clingy? Yep, people can be. It comes down to keeping with a "Good Thing". When people don't know the best/fastest way to earn XP and they run into someone that doesn't immediately kick them from the group but actually take them through the leveling process. Some people have a different definition of what a friend is, vs. acquaintance However, as annoyed as you became with a question you still have better options then your current response. One: Ignore the tell Two: Respond - Not sure yet, will put up LFM when I'm ready to group While it won't stop you from being annoyed it will however make you look less like the cad in the perceived relationship with an acquaintance.

I've run with players, and forgotten about them, and then get tells from them saying "hey, remember we grouped together - can you send me some plat? I need to buy a new weapon!" Some people are just socially inept. And they get upset when you point that out to them, using blunt words. It's ok. I think they deserve a little jerk-time.
