Unfamiliar though I am with the details of US versions of legislation on the topic, I can tell you that this may well be illegal; how clear-cut it is and what you'd actually be prosecuted for being highly dependent on the nature of the "work-around". Deliberately circumventing payment methods in order to obtain digital goods and services isn't regarded terribly differently from shoplifting in most jurisdictions. Even if it's not illegal, which I doubt, there is no question but that you would be opening yourself up to a civil suit; and WB aren't exactly known for treading lightly. They will hit you where it hurts
pour encourager les autres; they pretty much won't have a choice and whether they're in the right or not won't matter a damn unless you can afford better lawyers.
Not only that, but they might finally get irked enough to slap a takedown notice here.
If you did this to a company I was working for and you posted details on how to do it, we would a) fix the flaw and b) hunt you down like a dog.
Mailing bound-to-character items from one toon to another is one thing [1], deliberately showing others how to obtain access to content without paying for it is quite another. It's not worth it, man: I say this entirely for your own sake.
Don't paint so big a target on yourself that they're forced to take a shot.
[1] It's "one thing I cannot get to work, in any combination", which is a shame as I utterly despise having to regather Eveningstar comms on a fresh L20. :/
