Has anyone done the maths on this? I can't remember precisely the offer on the pack so don't know if it works out better if you want to buy points at a time of no sales.

1: Roll new account
2: Buy cheap MotU pack
3: Buy cheap 11k TP offer
4: Pass code to main account

So that's $19.99 + ?$59.99? for 11k TP. Or c. $135 for 13k TP in the store.

Any ideas? Or anyone have a screenshot of the offer deal? Or know if they still offer it?

Hmm well that's only $29.99 so only $10 more. It could still be viable as a way to improve TP return in off-sale periods.

I guess they still offer it on the new pack then. Hmmm. Thanks.

Edit: Just the base edition gets the offer or only the high end version? Curse my brain for forgetting the important details.

I'm not buying it, I'm just curious. Have an acquaintance who left VIP long ago, I'm advising probably best to go premium and buy the packs if he wants to dip in and out (he does). Trying to work out: if he gives in to impatience, is this an easy offer route. Not buying thousands of TP here, I have no need.

You can just go to the DDO Market and try it.  The $29.99
Shadowfail expansion gives you the opportunity to buy
11K points for $59.99.  For someone setting up a mule
account it seems worth it.  Essentially you're buying 11k
points for a $10 discount and getting Shadowfail for free
- which is about the right price.

Yeah I just noticed myself, thank you! When I tried with MotU it asked for details before any offers showed but I see with the second expansion it just tells you. Duh.

So yeah, $89.98 for 11k TP in off-sale times and the crappy expansion packs into the bargain. I'll let him know, thanks.

(The £ to $ ratio for TP means it's even better value for him this side of the pond!)
