He put up another screen shot today.

I don't know about anyone else but those 2 rooms don't look to me like they're on a ship. 

Maybe they're getting rid of ships for some kinda housing or sticking the amenities in the Hall of Heros.

For some reason i'm getting a bad feeling about this.  Roll Eyes

I doubt it. IIRC they've been advertising the new update as new airship amenities for a long time now.

Am I the only one who thinks the screenshots look pretty good?

It's airships... They will be new also.

Now from the look of things I suspect they also want to do something for guilds on Faerun too.
And it's the first step : getting rid of the old stuff so that it's easier to make a guild house in Faerun.

Please note that this is a pure Wild Assed Guess based on the look of the amenities PM has shown us.

This will surely renew player interest in the game. If it's two things that keep me from playing DDO. It's lack of swashbucklers, and new airships.

More info for those interested.

Quick overview:

    -An entirely new and different set of Amenities
    (Don’t worry, the old ones you’ve got won’t be taken away!)
    -New amenity buffs aren’t lost on death, will pause in public and on logout, and last much longer in general
    -A “buff bar” on the top deck will grant buffs for all installed amenities
    -Max Guild level goes to 200
    -Six new airships, even bigger than the current six
    -Current airships get their lower decks overhauled, to accommodate new amenities

Speaking of old augments, I just got my fighter back up to 20 and pulled his eSOS out of the bank. Last life I was using a citw axe so it was not in use. I have 3 days of demon's ruin augment left on that fucker  Grin  Grin

Except that later in the thread they admit that, yes, the old ones WILL be taken away.

It is NOT like Guild Augments, which you can still buy, or old Epic Augments, which are permanent.  You won't be able to buy them anymore, and they run out, so that's it.

I thought that was funny.  yet there doesn't seem to be much forum rage about it.  probably a slew of threads once U22 goes live though.
