i have been in every destiny as a monkcher. My old main is a monkcher. I just got bored of monkcerhing and moved to shuriken about 8 months ago.

In LD it's awesome. The rest is all pretty lackluster compared to Fury.

Seems to be some tomfoolery with bow. Sat in the dojo shooting dummies and didn't roll a single 20, so... no adrenaline. Switched to handwraps and charged unbridled fury in no time. Also seems to be some weird behavior with manyshot and 10k stars when activated. Lots of missing.

So... Turbine will make another fuckup. Is Feather still working there or something? At least as a consultant. This smells of FoS-ing.


Of course, I'm sure that every proposal, no matter how elegant or suitable for the present problem (they view it as a problem) of monkchers doing more damage than other classes, will be taken into consideration. After all, they want to fuck it up their way and not someone else's way.

Still, I have to make an attempt:
Allow the use of adrenaline charges and fury with Manyshot/10k stars. Regaining said charges will have to be done meleeing - which is still viable, though not as fast as manyshot/10k all the way. Folks will have to swap to melee weapons (OH THE HORROR!!!), but it's better than FoSing up the entire point of making a monkcher.

Another proposal would be to semi-buff semi-nerf 10k stars to a *static* ability that has a chance to proc an extra missile. This would improve dps when off Manyshot, with the offset of no longer having the double/triple missile proc during active 10k stars function. And, as present, activating Manyshot would nullify extrashot procs for a certain time. This would allow the much-called for (by Turbine) dps nerf by not being able to build up Fury/Adrenaline as fast as present BUT still retain the viability of ranged combat.


Also - I still believe that bug fixes should have major, major priority over freakin' build nerfs.

I blame Flav for this, just because I can.

Take w/p for example (don't get me wrong that had to get nerfed) It would have been more reasonable to make puncturing do 1d3 con damage which would make w/p still viable instead of changing the whole coding on how 0 con works. I don't know what everyone thinks But too me 0 con means 0 Blood left in the body. Not only did they do that But they got rid of Barbarian Crit Rage. I can go on and on about these Nerfs

yet we can still be made helpless when a stat is drained to 0 do mobs get made helpless too? They use sledgehammers Cheesy but are you surprised?

Game is invalidated because of broken builds...how dare you break my build!!!

I'll take skill over build. Monkcher had me play an elf and I feel dirty for it. It deserves to die. I'll leave the game when I have to play halflings.

Exactly my point .... if manyshot doesn't reduce the damage of the individual arrows typically then why would it when you enflame them or enrage them with magical properties?


Having arrow of slaying and adrenaline surge not stack is precedented and solves the problem just as well
