I wonder what the fuck are serial ETRs going to do when they get all their epic past lives.
*shrug* Hasn't that pretty much always been the way? "What do you do when..." has always been the question, it's just the second half of the query that changes. Right now I'm enjoying ambling my way through epic past lives in a meandering fashion. What I am wondering is what I'm going to do when the level cap goes up to 30 and it takes me twice as long; that might actually leave me feeling like I have literally nothing I want to do.
Yep, I know, if I'm basically wasting time bouncing from 20-28 and back, what does it matter if I waste twice as much time doing the same from 20-30? There's no logic to it, it's just that the howling void of XP required for little or no gain in those final two levels is a purely psychological stumbling block I've no particular desire to overcome.
I don't get to play all that much, although I'm putting in a few more hours recently. It takes me anywhere from a week to ten days to go from 20-28; partly due to restricted playtime, partly because I end up bullshitting with guildies quite a lot at the moment instead of actually earning XP
So at my current rate it would take me the best part of a year to finish getting EPL's. Another 3.15 million per life is going to put me right off

unless you have a build that has already super high AC (150+?), and those extra points may help.

It helps even sooner than that. Wink
Yep, it does. I have a 2nd-life Monk (no EPL's) who can just break 130 self-buffed (he needs a do-over and more gear, I know) and it makes some difference even in EE's. On my main with the EPL's I should be able to break 180, which will give reasonable mitigation against even the toughest current trash, assuming Rubbins was right in another thread about attack bonus being 2.5x CR. Not so much against bosses.
