Servers went from down to closed as well. Not a good sign. I don't expect to play for the next 48h...

They are of course sorry for the inconvenience.

i love how they keep their forum users involved. that thread is pages of people asking for updates and in response they post it on twitter..

because cordo hasnt enough time to do actual forum work due to his ban heroin

I'm waiting for the downtime extension post that goes something along the lines of "Ah, fuckit. This shit is too hard. We give up. DDO is officially dead."

Seriously?

Didn't you know that nobody at Turbine ever makes a mistake?

This was all planned.

Best part about downtime is that all those paladins seemingly go into overdrive defending turdbin on all their media platforms ......... more time for them to develop blood clots and fucking die  Cool

The katana of Truth has stricken.

“Most Americans are close to total ignorance about the world. They are ignorant. That is an unhealthy condition in a country in which foreign policy has to be endorsed by the people if it is to be pursued. And it makes it much more difficult for any president to pursue an intelligent policy that does justice to the complexity of the world.”

I just got that impression after you spent 13 pages calling out eladiun for being an interwebs bully when anyone who's been posting on here already knew that.  I mean, he's proud of it and hardly tries to hide that at all.

They won't as that is now an iconic part of the game!
They probably think it is hilariously funny and that we're laughing with them....

So I log into the game (from a flash drive, best advice to get rid of certain login issues), and I saw the floating guy in front of me. Then he disappears and, get this, a cosmetic pet (pseudodragon, I believe) gets left behind.

This just confirms that there really is a superior reptilian race shaping the course of mankind!

So quick to give him benefit of the doubt!   Grin

Launcher updates are only for client side patching.
Last few sneaky hot fixes occurred server side - without down times.

So it is possible to have patches without affecting clients.
