Turdbine motto: if they can't talk about it, it doesn't exist.
Also first rule of effective propaganda.   Coincidence?

Clearly the solution to low player pop is to post threads on the forums to make players less interested in the game.  You guys are fucking brilliant.

The game is more fun when there are more participants.

Players who like the game would like to see more people playing, because more fun.

Turbine has taught the players that it does not respond to carefully crafted, coherent, and well supported suggestions for corrective action.

The intent of the posts isn't to make players less interested, it is to make Turbine do something, because DropBear wrote on May 25th, 2014 at 1:28am:
Turdbine motto: if they can't talk about it, it doesn't exist.

Remember how loud the forum outrage became regarding the changes to pricing of heroic hearts and how muted was Glin's response?

I'm sure the reason the Oracle is able to collect and report objective metrics is because Turbine cannot remember how to turn off the publicly facing API, and researching how to do it is more effort than shining the chairs in the half-full conference rooms, telling each other that everything is going exactly as planned.

Yes. Those threads are retarded, what is the purpose ?

When I try new game I like to check forums while the thing is downloading for example.
Some newbie/lurker might do the same.

no, you asshole. clearly, the solution is to ignore the low pop and erase any and every thread asking for improvements to the play experience.

that would benefit the new player, and we cant have that, can we? wouldnt want to be fair to customers, would we?

this is why your game is a fukin PoS in its death bed.

There are no suggestions or discussion about low pop.
Anyone playing for some time is well aware of the situation.
Those threads are just self important ego massage.

I don't agree with over moderation but what is better to keep new player attention ?

"Our" game is Pos now for other reasons, certainly not because some newb can't see doom threads.

Cuntovan is using the Hitchhikers guide to game management.

I don't get it. In my honest opinion players should always have freedom of expressing their concerns especially condition of game from their point of view etc.

Cordovan - if you are reading this - start wearing a big boys pants and deal with it. Start listening and giving us THE PLAYERS what we want cause if you won't - "man" - most of us will move along and you will loose your money.

Ahem! The hitchhiker's guide to game management would be "dont panic!" which he clearly is panicking.

What you are quoting would be the ravenous bugblatter beast of traal's advance game management technique.

It has been shown that kicking Turbine in the balls is the only way to motivate them to do anything.

If you believe what Katana Boy posts, kicking Turbine in the balls (repeatedly) is needed to even make Turbine aware that a problem exists (see double log in problem).

Plus, kicking Turbine in the balls (hard and repeatedly) is simply enjoyable.  Cool

Family, Country, and the US stock market. Although, in a pinch, any convertible currency or liquid asset will do.

Is there any way the vault powers that be could change his handle to "Katana Boy!" ?

Would have to include the exclamation point, you know.

Or better yet, could we have our own "rename Majmal" contest here? I am breathless just thinking of some names that would be suggested.

Majmal would have to abuse power given to him or something and he would never get that type of power here on the vault anyway so.......unless he would go for it himself as in him changing his avatar to katana boy or whatever I do not see it happening.

It is funny that I have never seen that issue and don't see very many people complain about it . Maybe it isn't as widespread as you think? Maybe people are more concerned with the crashing of the game WHILE playing (memory leak anyone)?
