Well, there's a lot of issues that need to be addressed.  Starting with endless wars and endless deployments that destroy men and their families.  If the American people had exercised some little tiny bit of intelligence and spine they would not have tolerated the politicians who push us into useless wars like Afcrapistan.  We've been in that shithole for 13 years and spent too many lives for an ungrateful populace - both Afghani and USA - and when we leave there will be nothing to show for it.  Yeah, there's a terror threat, although if we were smarter about it the problem wouldn't be as big as its become.

Agreed.  However, the people on the front lines were not the ones who made the decision to go or not.  That's where everyone keeps getting their opinions all twisted up. 

The respect due is for all of us who just follow(ed) orders, and do our jobs til we're allowed to come home - or for Memorial Day for those that didn't make it home.  It has NOTHING to do with the fuckheaded politicians sitting in their million dollar mansions...

And to think the people run anything in the gov't any more is just wrong.  We're way past being able to pull control back away from the leet 1%ers at this point.
