Tried to take a Ruby of Endless Night out, and it got et somewhere in the process.  Careful with removing somewhat valuable augments.

i always feel that the game is going to come to a crashing halt when i use a jeweler's kit... the game has a really hard time dealing with it.

Never had a problem with them, and I socked a few away from cards.  Now all of a sudden it ate an augment.  If it'd been a relic turn in aug, I wouldn't be so annoyed, but I only have two of the Endless Night ones.

I checked everywhere for it several times, and even logged into a fresh client.  Nada.  Angry

I used a couple of thousand jeweler's kits in the past without any problem before U22. But I haven't tried any after U22. This may be a new thing.

ive used shit loads of kits pre u22 with no issues as well

does not mean that it isn't broken now, just that enough usage occurred pre u22 to say they did work 100%

Unfort that doesn't help the OP or make them feel any better about losing 1 of 2?

Thanks for the heads up Pallai.
Have tried using a JK since u22 so have not experienced it.

Neither the "omg im so sorry for you" is going to help her.

What is going to help her is a mail with a new Ruby of Endless Night.

you really need all that drama, huh? while there`s a recent thread about duping, and all you need is one. (oh, pls do tell me that you dont dupe)

other than that, the only time it used to eat my augments was when i was trying to re-use the jeweler kits by dragging them to SB and unsloting an augmented weapon.

If it works for her, and if the magic tab is still there come morning.   Undecided

According to ddowiki Ruby of the Vampire Slayer doesn't work with jewelers kits, and Ruby of Ghostbane "probably" doesn't work with jewelers kits. Maybe they all don't work.

Vampire Slayer != Endless Night though.  I've pulled out the latter recently, so it must be randomish.

That's why I said "somewhat valuable".  I am aware that some of you have 80 billion of these.

And I wasn't asking for a replacement, although that is very kind of the people who offered.  Just a PSA to let people know if they don't have unlimited resources.  Wink
