It appears that Crystal Cove will be returning today (Thurday, June 26th.) sometime in the late morning EST. Get ready for some lag. This crystal cove will NOT have new loot, however next one is expected to contain updated shinies.

I rarely participate in CC so I wasn't expecting anything except lag and less LFMs.

Are there any absolute MUST have hat combinations my friends and I should really spend time making during the event?

The only one I made last time I think was a Search/Spot helm @ 4, 8, 12. and I love it and all, but I figure there is probably better things i should spend that slot on Smiley

lol 10:16 of your video is this Concita Worst of LotR in the background?  Cheesy

Also I found it quite funny that they're discussing to lower the map pice turn-ins for CC when everyone is just duping them.

And once again "exploiters" bypass a moronic grind requirement, yelling in Turbine's ear what the players want while deaf grannie Turbine says "Huh, what? Maybe we should make a change here".

I haven't logged in in a month, but was thinking of logging on for some cove. Being able to bypass the hours long wait might actually make it worthwhile. I still have stacks of greenies, and don't need any more gear, but I do love running torches.

Turbine, the only way your game is worth playing is with exploits. Don't fix the exploits before you fix the game. You know, "First pillage, *then* burn!"?

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

Yeah, you're probably right. I could dupe the map peices and put up an LFM, and risk getting reported and banned because nobody saw me out farming pirates, or I could just dupe the shards and gems to make my 5th copy of Treasure Hunters Spyglass level 12. Why take the risk.

Or I could just not bother to log in at all, which right now has the upper hand  Undecided

some of the items are handy. Spy Glass I still use for TS, Search, Good Luck Aug. Duelist Leathers and Swashbuckler are actually good for a lv 20 Swashbuckler- ik crazy right?

Heavy fort's nice to have on a hat.  I made one with heal and sneak attack for a melee vampire wizard.

Same here.  I like scouting.  Don't need greenies, just like smashing skeletons.   Grin

Why would they think you dupe if you open an lfm for CC without farming the pirates? o.O
Don't get the connection here.

And I think lowering the amount of needed map pieaces is more related to the decreasing player numbers.

I mean if somebody sees me repeatedly turning in huge stack of maps (one by agonizing one) without going out to farm pirates. I'm sure I could put up as many LFMs as I want, it's the turn in to make the wait bearable that is the risk.

Remember, there's a whole hornets nest of rabid Palidins out there, people are getting reported for standing near a bank too long.
