	Usually, when there are major OS/application and network level patches, it takes awhile to generate the stats to fine tune it, apply patches for the patches or just revert if it is a total failure. It is a bad time to actually introduce your data level patches (hard to tell if the issues were caused by game code or the infrastructure). I used to schedule a downtime 3 days later in anticipation of tuning the infrastructure. It seems they lag a week for tuning. This is the type of downtime where they would also introduce some of their stealth fixes.
