This particular method won't work with BtC thingies.


Can you believe it's been over a week since it was made public?... Turdbine is really sleeping on this one. But perhaps even a week has not been long enough for you to get it working, and you still find yourself looking for a way that works for you.

So, while the dupe still lasts, I thought I'd just throw another method out there, for those still having trouble and want to partake. It's pretty straight forward.

Checklist:
•Have access to the Normal Shared Bank.
•Have a Bag, empty or full, it doesn't matter. Just make sure it's not BtC. It needs to go in the Normal Shared Bank.
•Have item(s) you wish to be duped inside the Bag.
•Have a clickable thingie like a CoV, Augment, or even the Card Cruncher handy, just in case it doesn't work straight out.

Instructions:
1:) DC.
2:) Drag the Bag to the NEW Shared Bag.
3:) Click on the Normal Shared Bank tab, then drag the Bag into that one as well.
4:) Open Bag.
5:) Click on the item(s) you wish to dupe a few times (I prefer clicking on them a few times, instead of dragging them out.)
6:) Close Bag.
7:) Reconnect.

If it works, duped stack(s) will be in Inventory, and the Bag will be in the Normal Shared Bank with the items still in it.

If you can't get it to work straight away, try slipping a couple of CoV/Augment/whatever clicks in here and there. For me, this method works very reliably on a high speed, low Latency connection. As oppose to the original method of using only the New Shared Bank.

yeah, but what is good is that there are so many variations that people should be able to get duping one way or another.

Still pretty surprised Turbine is let this ride, I would guess it gets shut down monday, but I wonder can they shut down every version?

And if not, try having someone you trust dupe for you I guess? For my guildies, it is what I do. Well, some... The others can work for their shinies

This is the waaaaaaay fucking hard way. There are much easier ways thanks to turbine. NO DC'ing, multiple stacks at a time 100% success rate once you get it. Even with BTC items.

And I have a super fast connection. It makes no difference. K.I.S.S.

Thanks majmal for wrecking the game for nothing, dumbass. All of the exploits and none of the day-today gaming convenience. You should LIAFF, or at least until bags and banks are as usable again as they were in the past. It would be nice to have those trivial things working again that matter to normal players, like storing stuff and moving things around.

Oh, wait. Restoring functionality will never happen because the remaining team doesn't understand systems well enough to fix them without creating even more new exploits. This thread is evidence that they are not even good enough to remove exploits even when granted the ability to disable or cripple existing features.

What is the next step in the unwinnable fight against exploiters - is it time for Turbine to get rid of banks altogether? Permanently disconnect players whose ping goes above 500 ms?

I'd appreciate if you guys on the Vault could let me know when you figure out how to duplicate fun or enjoyment in this game, because I'm getting tired of the frustration and drudgery.
