I can't believe they are having so much trouble with duping based solely on DC's or lag.

Holding off on the level cap?  Good.

Werewolves in Eberron content? Weren't those hunted to near-extinction along with the Shifters?

Bah, I need to re-read the lore now

Crib notes would be awesome for those of us who have paid no attention to AC whatsoever - my basic understanding is it's a fairly generic MMO, happy to be corrected? Smiley

Oh you guys are good.
How much fun would that be?
Players would love it!!!

Unsaveable knockdown combined with massive AOE/ debilitation on a red name with 500 DR/PRR and uber HP.
And this is just a mob - so there has to be at least 2 dozen of them (invisible until they attack).

Lips Sealed

It would be cool if the raid was assuming the Abbot succeeded and became a god.  We've already beat up Lolth, anything short of a god is sort of silly at this point.  Although not as silly as a muddy town with a wood barricade holding in thousands of epic prisoners.

Nice one.

I have a friend who will be excited about the Abbot news. It used to be his favorite raid bc of the puzzles. Not sure where it ranks now for him. Me, I was never consistently good enough at goggles. And hated that you needed multiple people to be proficient at things (which were mostly easy and surprisingly few people were good at) to succeed...

And agreed on the werewolves thing being stupid. Part of maintenance mode I guess. "New" mobs = new to area.

Oh, Abbott will be back and he will now be the god of vanity!  Why, because he loves mirrors!! Every corridor and room will have mirrors - mirrors everywhere.
Hell even the floors and ceilings will have mirrors for good measure.
And they will be adjustable (so he can always see himself of course) and there will be these beams that really hurt.
But they won't be light/energy beams as that is old hat.  They will be dark/negative beams - because that would be new.
So there's lots of levels where you have to turn the mirrors.......

And because of the mirrors, there are apparently two Abbott's - that have to be kept apart or he gets stronger and invulnerable.  Every now and again he jumps up in the air onto his ghost pirate ship and shoots at you with his 1000hp a hit repeating ballistas.
Great fun because he has a 10 shot magazine and the damage is AOE (50ft radius) with a 20ms warning.  The visual warning appears on the ground as invisible crosses that can only be seen if you're wearing special goggles - which block out all other spectrums of light, effectively making you blind.

And there will be rooms where you can't move or you die instantly.  Which is too easy, so this is where you encounter the air elemental riding battlerager shadarkai werewolves that have both knockback and knockdown.  Any movement at all and you die, but these mobs are special and immune to it.

Anyway you can probably guess the rest.....

Solo that on day one you pussies.... Mwahahahahahaha!

It's not in U23. Only Augments.

Nope. Augments are just a fill in to keep the rage at a bearable level as we don't have time to develop 30+ new items ( and upgrades ) now.

Supposedly, but as it has been pointed when some of hte PC asked, this is true for the settled continents ( Khorvaire, ... ) while we are on Xendrik which is mostly unsettled and wild areas... so there can be werewolves in there.

Well Since the DAT files from AC have the same format than the DAT files from DDO, it might be a good news for those that are hit by the double login issue. Maybe they are briging a few people that have a clue about file content and fragmentation...

Just remember you will get what you wish for, just not how you wanted it.  That is how these patches work you know.  That being said I kind of liked abbot could be frustrating, but at least it was interesting.
