I had that issue posting Tomes, but otherwise no.

One thing for everyone who is a "skeptic" on this issue: Insurance companies are basing their underwriting on the assumption that it is real. They are refusing to write policies on homes that are likely to be in danger from rising seas 20 years from now, even though the resale rate of the homes is so high that they could keep writing policies for another 10 years and still not have to pay out on 1 policy in 5, but that would be irresponsible. Unethical, as well, but that's never stopped anyone before.

It is fairly natural to assume that the fair price for the pot is the fair value of the resources I needed to make the pot plus the fair value of my labor.

Maybe only specific items have this problem? I'll have to retest.

Certain consumables (such as tomes) can't have a max bid.

When placing a bid the amount must be a certain % higher than the current bid price. If the Max bid does not reach this criteria then the bid is rejected. I had this problem buying heart of wood +1. The Poster put the min bid wrong and no body could bid on it.

What is that percent higher?
By the way, the max bid amount is not allowed on some items. I'm not sure why. Other items, it's ok.
Weird.

There is nothing wrong.
You should have just buyout instead of bidding.
Normally the new bid must be 5% higher than the current bid price.
(Except a certain bug related to first time bid- which I don't know how it works).
But if you are buying out, then you pay the already listed buyout price and the current price does not matter.
