So I went to recycle some +4 to +5 upgrade tomes on one of my toons.

I started with strength. I went through the process and it showed the strength animation on my character, but the tome was not in my my shared bank when it completed. I though oh well I finally used it. Well on character sheet it still shows +4 tome. I tried opening and shutting bank, re-logging, and checking buy back with no results. The tome is just gone. After a day the tome is still no where to be found.

It seems with the shared bank issues right now is not the time to do this.

I thought about submitting a ticket, but then decided against it....LOL

Your connection just lagged a bit longer.  Or you reconnected a bit too soon. It's just bit something you can get 100%, somethimes they just get used.

The tome didn't get used....it didn't apply to the toon and just vanished. It took me awhile to get the timing down for tomes. Also yes even with a script or perfect timing it can still get used up, but I have never seen a tome get used and not apply.
