Straw man.  That was not my point and you know it.  Party Crashers is not a strong XP/Min run.  It does not yield any good loot.  Given that XP and loot are the most common reasons a quest is run (by far) the point is valid.  I'm not sure why it would get run often enough to warrant anyone posting about needing a decent jump in it.

Run a quest because it's there!

Not everyone runs only the high xp quests or the great loot quests. I still like running Master Artificer and Lord of Blades, just because I like to feel like I slapped around a god.

Or the one about picking up gems in coal spawning more bad guys.

I had some guy literally screaming at me to not cast firewall in crystal cove (first time around) as "it makes the purple crystals explode".

Each ward you light spawns Hezzies. I ran this with a group on EE and on EN; EE went smoothly, on EN we died to a horde of ten thousand hezzies.

Picking up gems in CC spawns bats. I don't like it when folks pick up too many gems because the freakin things take forever to kill, and red alert at trogs that cast lightning bolt are quite painful.

It was kinda fun running around as a halfling barbarian trying to intimidate hezrou.

My poor toon looked like a 4 year old kid raising her fists against extradimensional demons.

Or chaotic outsiders. I'm not so sure.

To me, XP is a byproduct of having fun. XP/min makes it too much like work.

This is not true on any reasonable interpretation.  Of course, you are probably employing a very a loose understanding of "almost", "every" and "good".  Perhaps you're also assuming that quests are run by groups of two or three knowledgable parties.  In any case, you're an idiot.

I hate to say but i have to agree with ranger.

Dear players,

The D&D rules you were familiar with were too simple to understand, so we're continuing our move away from them to needlessly confusing subsystems that will make your play experience less fun and invalidate old builds and loot. We hope you have fun working out what the fuck MRR, PRR, MP, SP, RP, CL, MCL and all the other bullshit we made up whilst drunk means.

Love,

And make sure you have at least Jump Pots on your character when you do join an Epic Group - DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKES!
{Oh and not all groups will happily wait for you to go back to the start and take the alternative route.}
---

Post is full of this, i wonder how he got into epic levels without even jump pots (if he doesnt have spell, cant find clickies etc).

FranOhmsford is a known bad, end of story.

Good for you Ivan.
You are at second stage in ddo.
2): Roll a monkcher or Shiradi ( only 2 years later then everybody else ), strong urge to post epic elite screenshots as evidence of your huge sudden improvement.
We have all been there. It's a journey. Give it another 2 years and you will be rolling intentionally gimpy fleshie melees so you are not bored and laughing how fucking stupid you were now.

Ivan, sometimes I really do feel sorry for you. And your parents. And your other family members. Your friends. Guildies. People on forums who dont understand you have the posting quality of a bot. But not your pets. They know and understand you best.

Again, I didn't say those were the only two reasons quests get run.  Just the most common.  Everyone has favorite quests.  I'm sure somebody out there even likes Tomb of the Tormented or The Faithful Departed.

Come on, folks.  Give Geedorah some credit.  He can run some of the easiest Epic Elite content in a reasonable amount of time.  It's not achievement worthy, but at least he's not a total flower-sniffer.

Sure, he's overestimating his skills.  Sure, he's bragging about shit no competent player would ever brag about.  This is all both sad and amusing at the same time.

I think we should praise Geedorah.  He is obviously seeking validation from Vaulties.  And Vaulties are so good at providing that.

Let's start the slow-clap.  Come on, all together now!
