Turbine hasn't managed loot, new game systems, or content quality well over the 8 years the game has been out, but they did do a few things really well.  The combat system is still one of my favorites.  The instanced questing.  And the TR system.

It's a shame they have botched so many other aspects, because some of the few things they have done really well are unique and worthwhile.  It's why I still play.
