Launcher issue

As of a week or so ago, when attempting to open the launcher I've gotten two or three launcher windows and chrome opening to a C++ download page.

My admittedly mediocre computer-fu hasn't helped me much, if anyone else has encountered this and/or has any ideas, I'd appreciate the help.

Use a workaround by installing DDO-ML and forget that abysmal ads-riddled launcher.
