Planescape torment: the best single player game i've ever played..

Never understood why ppl didn't make lot's of mods for it like baldur's gate 2 for example.. Maybe they were afraid to alter this piece of art. It would be like you paint over mona lisa..

Nice effects, a little OTT, but if I had to watch that every time I cast those spells, I'd last about 5 mins playing that game!

I know, right? 

But...  after years of DDO conditioning, there seemed to be something VERY wrong about that incredibly long Celestial Hosts spell animation - an avenging Astral Deva with fiery wings storming past, waves of incinerating flames generated by a Phoenix, a shot of mystical energy from ANOTHER PLANET from the bow of a Solar Aasimon and a sort of super-awesome whirly fire-breath-weapon thing from a Gold Dragon - ending in the message:

Oh Neverwinter Nights. Clerics had Earthquake, Storm of Vengeance there.
And some mass buff granting Negative plane protection, instakills immunity, some ac and maybe some other shit.
Wouldn't that be glorious in the new raid.

I want Time Stop and Gate on ze zauberer.

If you don't recall, you had to twin this 5 times to beat emerald.   It was just a few seconds shy of not beating the timer without the underwater materia lol.

Planescape was the best adventure game I ever played, period. And I say adventure because it was way more adventure that most adventure games are.

And it had the best spell effects ever. Remember when you finally remove the torment tattoo?

Now for nwn, a game I played for almost 6-7 years before getting hooked on ddo, no spell is better looking than isac's missile storm Smiley

I want simularicum and gate...
Back in Baldures Gate your caster could cast simularicum and have that clone cast gate and simularicum then have your clone's clone do the same. Eventually you could fill the screen with an army of summoned pit fiends Cheesy
