Mirror of Glamering not giving correct skin?

My son got a mirror of glamering and used it on a set of lootgen Elven Chain that had a skin he liked.  Applied it to his Black Dragon armor.  But the cosmetic elven chain was a different skin from the elven chain set than the one on the chain mail he  has.  Anyone else see this happening?

There are similar issues listed on the official forums, and devs are looking into it (or so they would have you believe).

Bug report and add it to the master mirror error thread?
No access to mother forums so cannot provide a direct link.

happily works fine on the thigh-highs and garters of the green dragonhide armor.   

dont put it on a halfling though.  looks horrible.

Seriously, are you surprised? Thanks for beta-testing, unfortunately, Turdbin isn't handing out 600-TP-codes as compensation for beta-testers. Hey, but maybe we'll all get a free raider's box next update!  Cheesy

Yeah.  In game support gave him back his 245 TP and told him to file a bug report.

I've never heard of in-game crediting tp, only phone or general support, don't think they have the capability to do so. Or at least that is what I have been told by in-game when it has come up.

You had a lazy GM then. They can credit back TP if needed. Or spawn the lost store item ( if it was a lost store item )...

They can spawn lots of things actually... Up to and including creating an item just for you, with the right colors and the right textures.

They did it for my guild back in the day, so that we had an uniform for an event. It took a lot of time for the leader and the GM to get everything right, but it was possible.

I've seen it done.  It's more common to have them replace the item.  I was surprised they didn't just give him another mirror of glamering.
