Question for the newer Vaulties.

This is my second acct.  I misplaced my details once and couldn't get back on after a DDO vacay.  I was never really much of a participator.

I'm not a big time exploiter, but I cheer it on.  Mostly, I just like knowing what Turbine don't want me to know.  Ya know?

I'm guessing a lot of you recently joined because they saw rants in the mother forums.  So y'all want to know what secrets lay in the vault (here's a secret, look at all the boob pics and you can guess that not much gets laid in the vault).

So how long have you all been playing DDO?

I'm just curious, because if you all were so eager for sploits and everything, I'd have thought any DDO old-timers would have already joined a long time ago, just to see what's going on.

A bit more than 3 years. I tried DDO twice before, but didn't have the money at those times to buy content.

Been playing, off and on, for like 5 years now.  Didn't join for the exploits, joined for the freedom of speech, which is lacking on the motheboards.  You know being able to say 'why does turbine suck so bad?' or 'shut your whiny cum dumpster you call a mouth you stupid paladin.'  Things that get you hit by the wraith of Jerry if you even hint at on the other forums.

Turbine policy - glitches and poor coding resulting in interference of your game play or enjoyment will be ignored.  Glitches or poor coding on the developers side that at all benefit your game play or enjoyment will result in your character being banned and/or items from your inventory deleted.  Please report all bugs via our bug report...when it works.

Started playing 4 years ago.
I joined because cordovan is a whiny bitch and likes giving infractions like they are funerary tokens.

Been playing for about 3 years now and still suck.

I came here via Google not looking for any particular exploit.

On the topic of exploits, they seem to be too much of a pain in the ass to use so I don't, except for one case but I didn't go too overboard.

As for why I still come here - Before threads degenerate into the inevitable and slightly boring mudslinging you can still learn some valuable stuff. A lot of the people in here seem to know more about the game than most of the people on the main forum.

Ahh, the Vault.  I was plied here by the glitz and glamor of it all, kinda like Hollywood.  Come to find out, it is just a seedy, backroom of a beer store porn studio.  Where the jizz mop nor water has been changed in months.

I joined DDO almost 8 years ago, but just started exploiting recently. Like any game I've played for a long time, it was getting boring and duping has made it fun again.

Also, the vault offers freedom. The fanbois from the motherboard can't report every other post or hide inside Cordo's fat ass when you call them out for being a fucking whiny fagot.

OK.  This is interesting.  Thanks for all the replies.  Everyone's been surprisingly... civil.

I admit, I was really more curious about the sudden influx there seemed to be.

Everyone always says they've been a long time lurker when they join.  But we kind of expect that, right?

I really wondered how, at this late stage in the game (I suspect that the game can't last much longer), there could be so many people joining the Vault.  I didn't think there could be that many new people to DDO.

Maybe, with the thinning player population, Vaulties are becoming less of a minority?

How many of the new joiners discussed the Vault in-game before joining?

Didnt even know about the vault before I got like 10-15 infractions.
Then I started looking where would I discuss ddo when I get banned.
Are there really any new players to ddo that come here?

I knew those socialist government programs were wasting my money!  Cool

Family, Country, and the US stock market. Although, in a pinch, any convertible currency or liquid asset will do.
