I'd guess that no more than 30% of the population have TRd even once!
Are we playing the same game?

Most posters on the vault fit a similar demographic.  It's not casual gameplay.  I'd bet that most of the "end-game" players interact with AT MOST 200-250 other players.  While there are thousands of active accounts on each server.  Personal experience, anecdotes, or feeling from in game is always skewed for the players on the forums, let alone the vault.

I don't know the percentages, and wouldn't pretend to, but my guess is that the number of players who have TR'd is closer to Fran's number than you would think.  Even though I don't run with anyone on a first life toon, that I know of.

I'd be surprised if duping was even that prevalent.  Again, no numbers, but the knowledge is limited to a small portion of the player base.  And of that grouping only a portion wants to dupe.  And of that grouping, only a portion actually does.

Not really.  The majority of players don't pug, imo.  And since you are probably pugging at the same time of day and in the same level range, you tend to get the same people.  Over 2/3rds of members of both the guilds I am in do not regularly pug.  Except maybe a few raids.

By this point its easily at least 10%.  Maybe not using codes or AS, but you start paying attention to just how many people pass unbound raid loot these days.  Just how many don't mind passing on the thunderforge crap - and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Turbine policy - glitches and poor coding resulting in interference of your game play or enjoyment will be ignored.  Glitches or poor coding on the developers side that at all benefit your game play or enjoyment will result in your character being banned and/or items from your inventory deleted.  Please report all bugs via our bug report...when it works.

100 Accts?  10% of the population?  Yeah, not on G-Land or Sarlona.

I have no idea how wide spread duping really is, and don't care, but if they got their way they could turn already gimp servers into cripples who couldn't wipe the drool off their own chins.

(I'm afraid I went too far with that metaphor, so I may apologize if you you call me on it.)

Edit:
Cordo necroed it.  I wonder if he has a page of book marked for threads he's killed the same way I've got a big-ass freezer?

No?
Count the who list on your server, I can bet everything I have it doesnt have more than 700 chars on it.

Then we agree.  100 accts would not be 10%.    Especially if we figure that a portion of those 700 names are dual-boxers.

Maybe I should have made it explicit instead of leaving it with the implication, but I meant that 100 accts is more than 10% on those two servers.

So 100 accounts would cripple servers like G-land and Sarlona, agreed?

How it wouldnt be 10% especially if we consider that portion of those 700 are dual-boxers.

So you lied again huh? Gosh, what is your problem Ollie? you made another big scene about how you were going to stop playing DDO, and then post this.

You too huh. Failed to see the post where i said id be here to test out the u23 stuff on live (which im currently prepping my toon for), and that i would return once more after the new year when the new event comes out. How is this a lie, if i in fact am doing what i said i would. "Going away" does not mean "I left yesterday." it means that one will be going away, though a date in which said going away is not set. Unless ofc they were to say "Im going away today". Which, to my knowledge, i did not.

We can't win. Factor, Fire Foot, please make every thread in The Vault into a thread about Ollie. It is wonderful to talk about Ollie. Praise The Cult of Talking About Ollie!
