Had Cholthuzz neg level and kill me on my TR warforged sorc life.  Also, neg'd and killed by the doomsphere in the Insanity chain in the harbor.

Whole reason I ran Warforged was to finally just obliterate those 2 fights.  Talk about a buzzkill.

Con damage by doomsphere is not the same as neg level

Not related to the neg levels, but to Cholthulzz... Cetus posted a new video today, GoP EE. The Cholthulzz fight interested me the most: http://youtu.be/XVlL0vQRODM?t=5m17s

Is enervation level drain different from other spells/mechanics?
Also enervation is an arcane spell, and the boss is a priestess supposedly. Though trying to apply logic to quest design decisions is a futile mission of course.

I noticed both priestess and spies casters have unholy blight listed, maybe the spell got broken somehow?

Unfortunately wasn't able to check combat log at that time.

Doomsphere didn't used to con damage. They used to be beholders with undead profile.

Happened to my WF arti lvl 7 in delera, like 2 years ago.

Its a side effect of lag. Your toon racial properties are kinda "handed to you by the server" so they are susceptible to lag-related bugz.

Also bracers of demon consort neg lvl backlash works on wf toonz, but since you got -4 lvls I suspect a bug or a bug.

The most broken epic PL in the game is the ridiculous AC buff from martial PLs. But when you include all the inherent benefits from reincarnation, the thing is above the roof. The benefit from TR was supposed to be minimal, but now it is game breaking. start a new character and you will feel, you will get raped in heroics.

Personally I think lower heroics on new characters are harder than Legendary Elite content on a character with good gear and has all destinies farmed.

And someone in another thread called ME delusional recently!

Wow.

Have you EVER gone to Law School Feyn? Have you EVER been asked by a United States Senator who is now the Vice President of the United States to write a paper just for him on a particular topic of Constitutional Law for his use as a Senator? Have you ever been asked to help a very notable Harvard PhD turned Constitutional scholar with his very-well received book on Legal Philosophy and Constitutional Revolutions? Have you ever been offered a job as a Deputy Attorney General BEFORE you even graduated Law School?

No? Then STFU you fucking amateur.

Not really. Only that it gives 1d4 negs per cast. Circle of death gives 1d4. Energy drain gives 2d4s. Wight attacks give 1 neg. Symbol of death gives one each time it is entered.

Might have been energy drain if theyre divine casters.

I was looking for more on the Cholthulzz and con damage thing. I wonder when this post has been last touched/ updated: http://ddo.mmodb.com/guides/ghosts-of-perdition-quest-guide-31.php

Quote:
What's more, he is incorporeal, so you cannot always hit him. You have to time your attack when he is not in his incorporeal state. Those that rely on optic nerve for protection may just forget about it because more often than not, Cholthuzz's ray can bypass optic nerve. Some of the spells he cast include: Chill Touch (3d6 con damage); Wuthering Burn (necromancy spell); and Boneshatter (slows you down). Tanks should use undead weapons instead of aberration ones because he is primarily an undead.

So, what I'm wondering is... did he always have that, they've just either intentionally made him spam it in epics, or by mistake... ?

In heroic he always had con drains from chill touch. This new one is 20 something every time. cant be chill touch on epic version.

They screwed up something with neg level spells and/or sla's. Got 9 neg levels in somai garden from a greater quell and they stayed with me even after I left the slayer area. Took about 10 minutes standing around at the tavern in reavers reach for them to go away. Tried logout/login but they were still there.

It's only an arcane spell when cast by an arcane caster.

When a divine caster casts it, it's a divine spell.

I call that a no-brainer. Yes of course.

Unless it's just a classic case of lying, then you're just a lying son of a bitch.
