Oh I totally remember taking everyone one of his PMs here and giving them all to Jerry. I made a point of telling everyone here I had done so.
Yes, this is the part that everyone condemns. The part that colors your reputation.
Quote:He tried to play on the fact that initially I believed him and felt sympathy for him. After a while I realised that it was a massive trolling effort.
The above is where you're lying to yourself to pretend your reputation hasn't been damaged by your actions, and that you're really a good person inside.
Quote:Kinda dumb not realising it straight off but hey. I'm a trusting person.
So yes, I have no issues with that at all.
I don't believe you're a trusting person. You have quite literally demonstrated that you're not a trustworthy person - such people usually find trusting others quite difficult.
You are unusually connecting "I ratted him out" and "He told everyone that I believed him, but I so didn't." Your second statement does not justify your first. If he lied after the fact, he lied after the fact. That's a his problem thing, not an "ok, whew, I feel better for ratting him out *before* he lied about me."
What's amazing here is the levels of self-deception you employ to justify your actions.
