The problem with Bane is the same problem as alignment damage; players don't understand what is affected by it. For players, bane refers to damage that affects a specific creature type so I don't know if we want to use it for more universal damage like this. I would personally like to make it bleed damage but I'd have to look at Bleed damage to make sure that's an actual damage type and see what reduces it. My favorite part is when Severlin then "thinks outloud" and wonders if Bleed is a damage type.

	Or when he uses bane damage as universal damage in MoD water, but the players dont understand that, only the devs can.

	Obviously the man who's played DDO for maybe 10 hours is going to have a far superior understanding of the game than the people whom have played for hundreds and hundreds of hours.

	I have sent some pm, and all the communication I get from him indicate that he is ignoring anything that he has not thought of. He is looking for the simplest fastest way to make changes so that he can present that to his supervisors and put it on his CV . He really doesn't give a shit.

	The bane thing... 2 years ago I was wondering what I should do with plant bane weapons, because I didn't think of any plant type mob. I probably just missed the pack where some mobs were plants or plant typ so it was only confusing. Then we got the evil outsider bane and chaotic outsider bane... that's definitely something only DnD players understand or know without using the examine window or wiki. And evil outsider bane seemed to be easier than chaotic outsider bane for me, because most outsiders are evil? Sorry I am not a DnD pen&paper player and don't know any rule book. And the only chaotic outsider I knew for sure is demon queen. Apart from that I can't really say for sure where chaotic outsider bane could be useful. And if I see a monster I also don't know his alignment, but I am not really the usual target audience of this game. But plantbane, ghostbane and stuff should be pretty easy to understand, only the alignment stuff should be difficult for non DnD players. And I don't mean the mechanic in general, I mean to have the knowledge to know against which mobs and in which packs this effect is usefull without searching the wiki and examine window. So I can understand why he is saying that, although I think his comment is an oversimplification, because ghostbane and stuff should be pretty easy to understand. And even if the alignment stuff is not that easy for a non DnD player I think it helps to get flavour into the game, especially for DnD players and long time players.

	Ah Firefly... If ever there was a show I wish had more episodes, Firefly is it. Too short imo. How that has ~14 episodes and Honey Boo Boo has multiple seasons, I do not know.

I was annoyed that they cancelled Dark Angel for Firefly (because apparently there wasn't room for 2 scifi shows), and then cancelled Firefly after just one season.
