I have a friend who screws this rich girl whenever she comes into town - she stays at his place. So, healthy relationship. They get along, are kind of fun to be around, and he has other girls he sleeps with. Rich girl wanted them to date. He keeps saying "no, I don't want to date you." She doesn't care, they end up fighting a lot, but she still crashes at his place, lots of sex, two weeks later she leaves, he's relieved. And she always plans to come back, wants to keep dating him, despite that he is quite honest with her "I'm never going to marry you. I don't even want to date you." etc.

Children whose parents won't divorce don't have a clue what a good relationship is. Children of divorced parents know to seek out compatible people and treasure them.
