Huge bags

So I've got a few extra huge bags that I aquired on accident. Trying to get rid of them since they are wasted inventory space. When I trash them, they get mailed back to me and the mail never expires. Solution?

Had a bank alt that that happened to. They currently sit in mail, deleted, with 1 day left for mail to expire, but it never does. And always, if I delete, is mailed back... Why can't that happen with other things...

Technically it does. Any mail that is opened and has an attachment, never gets deleted, or returned to sender.

I also have a couple of btc bags I tried to get rid of, since I didn't need them and they were taking up space, but nope, they just won't.

Try not opening the mail.
It should expire then....

Might bounce once, but it should go eventually.

If I recall, I tested that too, didn't work. Mail sent by someone gets returned to sender if it's unopened. Trashed items to do not.

Hmmmm....
I definitely throw out the freebie small BTC bags when I upgrade them.
I infrequently check my mail and they're gone.
I just assumed that was the difference, because opening with an attachment and then leaving it, means it stays.

Have never tested it though.
I would like to log in and test...... but I honestly can't be bothered now.   Undecided

Ok, will test if I remember. The unopened mail has 2 weeks on it, though.

I do remember that the automated auction house mail I think bounces once and disappears for good.  Thought it might be the same for L&F.

If I get a chance to login in one day and will test it to.
The two weeks does mean patience and a good memory to remember which toon you were doing it on.....

It's been longer than 2 weeks for me. Bags were in mail before I went to Asia, so was 3 weeks or so before I logged back on, and they were there.

Friend destroyed the bags maybe 5 times after getting them mailed back. Eventually lost and found actually loses them and stops resending.

Open mail, but do not remove the attached bag/item.  Now close the mail box.  Open mailbox again and you'll notice the Lost and Found mail with bag or item now has 5 days on it's timer.

In 5 days it will be gone, never to return.

That's how you keep items intentionally....

You're lucky it is only 1 bag in your mail.

Years ago, when we still had that stupid lottery thing, I won a set of cosmetic hair styles and dyes. And not just a couple, noooooo, the WHOLE FRIGGIN CATALOGUE.

I don't care one rat's ass about this hairstuff so I threw all of them away. And they came back.

Everytime I try to get rid of this filth it comes back to clogg up my mailbox.

35 items that are permanently wasting space. Did you know that your mailbox is considered "full" if it holds 50 mails, regardless of source? Once it is full, other people cannot send you any more mails.

Shit like this is pissing me off so goddamn much, I have actually been considering to use the haircrap. Because, hey, who doesn't like to run around like a male halfling monk with a pink Elvira-hairdo.

Use it right before you reincarnate.  Hair dyes do not persist through reincarnation.
