Agreed, even at the time they were skewed due to a poorly written survey and no distinction between heroic and epic play (for instance the Arty is one of the stronger heroic classes, but is very under-powered in epic content)

But it wouldn't have allowed them to create new systems... they /need/ to pad their resume, and fixing broken things is a tough sell on a resume. Creating new things ( whatever the reason behind the creation ) is way better looking.
